TEDU Civil Engineering Triumphs at the 4th Pasta Bridge Competition: First Place Award!

The "4th Pasta Bridge Competition," organized by the TMMOB Chamber of Civil Engineers Ankara Branch, took place on May 16-17, 2026, with enthusiastic participation. In this challenging event where young engineering candidates merge theoretical knowledge with practical application, our Civil Engineering Department students, competing as team "Beş Makaron," achieved a remarkable victory by securing first place.
Throughout the two-day event, our students meticulously constructed their bridges based on aesthetic and engineering principles. Following the load tests and jury evaluations, our team scored 79.25 points overall, leading the scoreboard in structural efficiency, teamwork, and design criteria. Their perfect score in "Structural Efficiency" (30.00) highlighted the superior engineering of their design.
We congratulate our students, who were awarded the 25,000 TL grand prize, and wish them continued success in their future engineering careers.
