The final conference of the EU-funded BORIS2 project, hosted by EUCENTRE, was held on December 11 in Pavia, Italy. Partners and stakeholders from across Europe came together to discuss the project’s outcomes, including a new methodology and platform designed to strengthen cross-border disaster preparedness for floods and earthquakes. The project team showcased how these tools were tested in three pilot regions and demonstrated the added value of a harmonised, science-based approach to multi-hazard risk assessment.
